Flanking the western boundary of the Kruger National Park, the Greater Kruger private reserves are South Africa’s premier safari territory. Well known as the hub of safari luxury and unforgettable wildlife encounters.
On the western boundary of the Kruger National Park is a collection of privately owned nature reserves which dropped their fences decades ago and merged with the national park to build a greater conservation area for the free movement of wildlife. Known as the Greater Kruger, these reserves today offer some of the best up-close wildlife encounters in South Africa, both in safari vehicles and on foot. The Klaserie, Timbavati, Balule, and Manyeleti are all a part of this connected stretch of wilderness extending to the world famous Sabi Sand, and are only accessible to privately booked guests and guides.
