For a classic Morocco itinerary including Casablanca, Fes and Marrakech, 7–10 nights works well. If you’d like to add the Sahara desert and more remote regions, 10–12 nights is ideal.

The best time to travel to Morocco is generally October to May, when temperatures are more comfortable in the cities and desert. Summers can be extremely hot, especially in the interior and Sahara.
