Tengile River Lodge: contemporary romance on a grand scale

Tengile makes an immediate design statement. Steel detailing, vast copper doors and a contemporary material palette give the lodge a confident architectural presence, while its nine suites open towards the Sand River.

Inside, the scale is remarkable. Each suite has a sunken lounge, generous living areas and a private pool substantial enough to spend a long afternoon beside.
